Safety huddle each day 10 minutes before start time.Plenty of OT (sign up for 8 or 12 hour shifts)Dress Code/Required PPE: Pants / no shorts, safety boots - the rest will be provided onsiteFollow all Food Safety (HACCP), GMP’s, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental programsGet a pass down from the outgoing shiftCheck paper work for the order running, and the packaging materialsDo metal detector and weight checkCheck the quality of product runningFill out paper work is filled out correctlyMaintain all production areas in a neat and clean condition.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisorWork in elevated areas (short ladders)Required:client requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic computer skillsAbility to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advance noticeAbility to work in elevated areasPreferred:Prior experience in production related workForklift experienceAble to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation
