Shift Start and End Time: M-F 7am-3pm

Job Summary: Paint and prime plastic, metal and composite aircraft parts and structures using organic coatings.

Duties: Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability. Mix and spray paint and primer per work order instructions, engineering prints and company specifications including documentation of the materials used in the process to maintain traceability. Clean panels in preparation for painting and priming. Maintain spray equipment; pressure pots, spray guns, pray booth, paint storage area.

Experience: 0-2 years

Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience
Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail

Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skills.

Other Skills: Knowledge of safe handling and disposal of various regulated materials used in the process. Understanding of how to track of volatile organic compounds in geographical locations that have air quality regulations.

Summary of Duties:

• Define best practices for the Fill & Fair and Prime & Paint process across all Client Cabin sites worldwide
• Implement best practices related to the Fill & Fair and Prime & Paint processes; ensure standardization, and develop related documentation and training
• Develop and implement next generation processes, prepare advance technology, and transition from manual processes towards automation
• Measure performance across sites in these processes and work with Production staff to address problems
• Training Production staff on new Fill & Fare and Prime & Paint processes
• Serve as the Client Cabin expert for the Fill & Fair and Prime & Paint processes, with the willingness to join the Client Expert network as a Fill & Fair and Prime & Paint Expert
• Act as the focal for Industrialization on Fill & Fare and Prime & Paint processes as required during the development of our products ensuring that the best practices, materials, and processes are used in our designs
• Champion and implement Lean principles
• Lead and participate in Kaizen and 3P events to develop improvement plans
