JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities of the Patient Service Center Phlebotomy accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general. Phlebotomy Certification preferred, but not required.


Hours : 6:00am to 3:00pm
Education :
Additional Job Details : Must have strong venipuncture skills, with experience drawing patients of all ages. Attention to detail, efficiency and organizational skills required. Monday - Friday: 6am - Site QJA (Alaska Phyciatric Institute) 3700 Piper St, Anchorage, AK 99508, Drop samples off at Laurel street Quest PSC 4120 Laurel St STE 103, Anchorage, AK 99508, 8a-3p - Alaska Heart Prov (site T3O): 3841 Piper St, Anchorage, AK 99508
