Production Associate Apply
Description: a) Key Areas of Accountability/Responsibility 1. Handle raw materials, transport from storage to dispensary, weigh them as required, per the batch formula, and add them to required mixer. In addition, all production operator employees will be required to load blenders, complete final packaging, and sample per batch requirement, inspect both raw materials and finished goods as well as safely palletize and store raw materials and/or finished goods. Employee must follow 4-eye principle guidelines at all times. 2. The production assistant must work with either a production operator or senior production operator, until they have completed their 90-day training. 3. Upon completion of 90-day training, must be able to work unsupervised in all areas of the production process. 4. Monitor report and document equipment failures; record exceptions, deviations and actions taken5. Report disturbances to the Supervisor or Backup Supervisor and inform him/her about production process adjustments/concerns. 6. Take samples of raw materials and finished goods for quality and analytical testing.7. Perform assembly work on equipment when necessary to ensure continuous efficient operations of process. 8. Take care of good housekeeping within area of responsibility, in compliance with guidelines, orders and instructions. Allergen storage, cGMPs, 5S and other programs/requirements fall into housekeeping requirements and must be followed. 9. Alert offenders of nonconformities. Notify supervision if and when standards are not being complied with. 10. Support in investigating asset utilization issues.11. Communicate relevant details with all team members, including leaving and incoming shift colleagues.12. Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting equipment performance. 13. Responsible for reporting and the escalation of SHE incidents while participating in root cause analysis. 14. Performs as support to the Production Operator or Senior Production Operator15. Performs other duties as required.16. Business needs may dictate working different shifts and overtime, as needed. Must be flexible. 17. Ability to work in confined spaces intermittently (non-permit required).18. Ability to work at height (approximately 14 feet).19. Ensures cGMP Compliances.
