Job Description
• Serve as the working supervisor in Catheter Production. You will be the primary point of contact for your team.
• Supervise Line Leads and production assemblers to achieve output goals on a daily basis.
• Use lean manufacturing approaches to solve bottleneck operations and allow for the free flow of WIP through the production line.
• Development of work station optimization and continuous improvement to increase efficiency of production processes.
• Ensure nonconforming material is processed in accordance with approved standard operating procedures and work instruction.
• Work with other departments (i.e. Materials, Engineering, Quality, R&D) as needed to accomplish Production goals and meet customer needs.
• Utilize tools such as Staffing and Training matrices to ensure maximum efficiency and enable teammate growth and job rotation.
• Conduct training of quality Line Leads.
• Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Identify root cause and initiate corrective actions through CAPA.
• Perform timekeeping and monitor attendance/vacations.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching for teammate development.
• Perform annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal and third-party quality audits.
