Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm

Job Description

Perform processing duties as trained in the laser cutting, processing, and inspection of products while maintaining all necessary production goals and accurate documentation. Maintain a clean work area and good documentation practices at all times. Comply with all relevant safety policies in the area and company.
Position Requirements
• Must complete new employee orientation checklist and specified training.
• Must be able to read procedures and comprehend instructions related to all processes and company information.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary with all levels of personnel and possible customers/auditors.
• Minor computer skills are required.
• Employee must also have demonstrated the ability to complete production and quality paperwork with attention to detail as well as perform the math calculations for this paperwork.
• Must be able to visually manufacture and inspect parts with an unaided eye according to area standards.
• Must be able to perform tasks associated with position while wearing the necessary safety glasses and PPE for the area.
• Must be able to use a stereo microscope according to area standards for up to your entire shift.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 35 lbs. on an occasional basis during your entire shift.
• Must be able to handle and process very small parts with acceptable hand dexterity and good hand/eye coordination while meeting production needs/standards.
• Must comply with dress/attire policy.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Load and unload all types of lasers and production equipment.
2. Perform tasks requested by Supervisors.
3. Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner by Lean Manufacturing & 5S standards.
4. Inspect and accept responsibility for the quality and quantity of parts processed per procedures and standards.
5. Cooperatively work with all other employees
6. Maintain acceptable attendance and tardiness per the employee handbook and company policies.
7. Document and complete all necessary production paperwork to keep accurate production logging and totals. Maintain this documentation as trained and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices procedures.
8. Participate in, support, and help implement all Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
9. Maintain ability to use/lookup company procedures both hardcopy and electronic copy.
10. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
