Cor-Tech is hiring for PRODUCTION WORKERS for our client in Essex, Jct, VT.These are Direct Hire Positions with 3 shift openings.Hours/Pay:• 1st: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm: $15 for Production • 2nd: 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm: $16 for Production• 3rd: 10:45 pm - 7:15 am: $19 for Production• PRODUCTION WORKER POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Team Member position requires the incumbent to a) complete tasks at an assigned station, and/or to assist in the operation of one or more pieces of equipment per standard operations procedures (SOP’s) to produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner, b) be conscious of their (and adjacent) product quality levels and report any deviations from process standards, and c) positively contribute to the team environment, both on and off the production floor.• PRODUCTION WORKER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Complete tasks at an assigned station, and/or assist with the operation of one or more pieces of production equipment, and to:a. Understand, and follow, all safety instructions and practicesb. Be able to assist Machine Operators with loading/unloading production equipment per standard operating procedures (SOP)c. Assist with monitoring quality of products and take corrective actions as instructed.d. Communicate, with others (on team, across shift changes, and to other departments) as instructed, for successful completion of assigned work.e. Possess the ability to stay on task, and be process-oriented.f. Help to prepare machine(s) for production startup at beginning of shift and safely/correctly shut down machine on a daily basis, as instructed and supervisedg. Track production supplies at assigned station and ensure proper levels maintainedh. Track production output and quality level periodically throughout and at end of shift.i. Actively contributes to on-going housekeeping responsibilities by keeping work centers, and factory, clean, neat, and safe as a working environment.• PRODUCTION WORKER EDUCATION, SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:o HS Diploma or equivalent required.o Some mechanical aptitude. Good manual dexterity a pluso Previous exposure within a manufacturing setting desired, but will train otherwise qualified candidates. Experience in a high-velocity production line a pluso Language Skills Possess English Language skills and be able to: Understand written and spoken safety, quality, and machine process instructions Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, managers, and others, both asking and answering questions as required.o Computer Skills: Ability to comfortably operate in a Windows environment needed. Willingness to learn additional skills such as Excel, a plus.• CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR PRODUCTION WORKER POSITION:The applicant must pass a specified drug screen prior to starting employment, basic background check, and reference check. o Security Clearances:This position requires the applicant to complete, be granted, and maintain, a US Department of State MRPT clearance as a condition of employment. o Working Conditions for Production Worker Positions:Works primarily on the manufacturing floor, which requires the incumbent to be able to sit, stand, and or walk for an entire shift. Also, ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and occasionally lifting upwards of 75 lbs. may at times, be required to perform the essential functions of the job.
