Shift: Day 8:00A - 4:30PProject Engineer Requirements Management SpecialistCoordinates Engineering projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.This role will focus on the setup and maintenance of the requirements management process for a new product development program.Key tasks: Work DOORS setup and generate needed DOORS modules. Support requirements reviews with the engineering team and ensure translation into DOORS. Setup DOORs database per the requirements tree. Assist in the process of flowing customer requirements into internal system requirements document. Work with component teams to develop specifications linking to the system requirements document.Key experience/skills: Experience using IBM Rationale DOORs for requirements tracking and traceability. Experience using IBM Rationale DOORS eXtension Language (DXL) is a plus. Experience using IBM Rationale ClearQuest for problem reporting and tracking. Strong requirements accounting abilities in order to manage and maintain a requirements set of 2000 plus requirements objects.
