Location: Centennial, CO (Remote)

Type: 1 year contract to hire on W2

 

Summary:

The position will work with internal and external partners in product, project management, development, design, editorial, sales, marketing, and research teams to coordinate projects, tasks and assets in the development and management of digital products.

 

NOTES FROM HIRING MANAGER

  • Missing secret sauce from latest candidates is familiarity / experience with/ supporting of, or developing feature/functions of financial systems.
  • Support of financial system (not small shop), doesn't have to be fortune 500 company. 
  • Not looking for interns. Not 5 years, but 2 years of experience is OK. 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications,
  • Experience supporting on Financial and Accounting systems
  • Experience working with development and engineering teams and managing product roadmaps, as well as launches
  • Experience supporting any SaaS/licensing products
  • Experience using Jira or a similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress
  • Expertise in the SDLC process (Agile), with a focus on scoping, iteration planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, and rollout management
  • High sense of ownership, eager to learn and be challenged.
  • Highly detail oriented, Systematic and Analytical mindset
  • Degree in Technology, Finance, or Business systems.

Desired Characteristics

  • Background in banking or experience Media Industry financial systems
  • Experience delivering features
  • Experience with managing the building of new integrations a plus
  • SAP experience a plus
  • SQL experience a plus

 

Responsibilities

  • Build out a backlog for products that have functional alignment and consolidate repetitive applications
  • Understand and document dependencies between stories that are being written
  • Manage feature roadmap, and prioritization of capabilities and features of a product
  • Engage across functions with multiple stakeholders, translate requirements into well documented product features
  • Facilitate grooming sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories
  • Fully document product features and capabilities in JIRA, ensuring all stories have acceptance criteria that is clear and can be measured
  • Collaborate across teams and with architecture and solutions leaders, to identify the best technical solution for a feature or capability that meets the needs of the clients
