On a weekly basis, you will lead or be part of a team interacting with large defense contractors, technology companies, and university researchers. Client is a rapidly growing company creating many opportunities for career growth.</p> <p>Client custom designs a complete solution of conductive inks and epoxies as well as novel Anisotropic Conductive Adhesive formulations called ZTACH® ACE </p> <p><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong> Project Engineer</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Effectively manage joint projects with customers, university researchers, Department of Defense, and subcontractors.</li> <li>Keep projects on time by negotiating schedules with external project partners and internal stakeholders to achieve dates for each deliverable.</li> <li>Present in-depth technical information to people familiar with the project and non-technical or unfamiliar executives.</li> <li>Form comprehensive technical reports based on information and data collected from internal and external sources.</li> <li>Manage materials and process development tasks by communicating your experimental designs to research and process development technicians.</li> <li>Ability to problem solve in a methodical manner – the strong root cause corrective action experience within engineering/operations</li> <li>Ability to develop, execute and analyze trials/design of experiments</li> </ul> <p><strong>DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide project updates during daily standup/scrum meetings. </li> <li>Provide daily direction to technical staff by formulating experimental plans and communicating these plans to the technical staff.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering and senior leadership to solve problems and or perform root cause analysis.</li> <li>Formulate experimental plans based on hypotheses formed through root cause analysis.</li> <li>Lead meetings that provide technical updates to project partners and customers.</li> <li>Collaborate with senior and technical staff to review federal research grants and their applicability to Client's competency.</li> <li>Write formal proposals seeking federal government research grant funding. This will involve collaborating with university researchers, commercial manufacturers, and government employees.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS in Materials, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical engineering</li> <li>Requires 3-5 years relevant experience as a degreed engineer.</li> <li>Must be a US Citizen or Green cardholder to meet ITAR requirements</li> <li>Experienced in writing technical reports and assembling technical presentations.</li> <li>Must have the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.</li> <li>Must be a team player who is willing to cooperate with and consider input from a supervisor, coworkers, and members from other areas of the business; must be able to play either lead or support on projects.</li> <li>The ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals and technical procedures.</li> <li>Basic proficiency in data analysis, data presentation, and statistics</li> <li>Create convincing reports, work instructions, procedures, and operating manuals.</li> <li>Present technical topics to diverse audiences.</li> <li>Exceptional organizational skills and documentation skills.</li> <li>Must be able to handle multiple projects at any given time and prioritize efforts to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed to support project execution.</li> <li>Travel as required to remote plants, facilities, customers, or suppliers.</li> </ul> <p></p>
