NOTE: Reflik Intake Call will be the week of April 25-April 29, 2022Overview:Sodexo at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) has a great opportunity for a Project Manager (IT Cybersecurity Professional/ ePHI Program Manager) to lead IT programming at UTMB in Galveston, TX.Sodexo partnering with UTMB Health offers innovative care provided with compassion and that is nationally recognized. Responsible for meeting objectives and key performance indicators within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated risks. This position requires knowledge and experience of the technical area being managed and an awareness of the business issues.Responsibilities:Coordinates the implementation of a defined, short-term project or sub-set of projects (less than one year) within set organizational procedures and standards. Responsible for meeting sub-set objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated risks. Typically requires knowledge and experience of the technical area being managed and an awareness of the business issues. This is an entry-level position.Technical Duties:Interacts on a routine basis with clinical health providers, Biomedical engineers, IT specialists and leadership in the identification of technology-based problems and solutionsInspects and ensures an advanced range of clinical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments are ePHI compliantPrepares required documentation and reports for review and presentation to senior leadershipDemonstrates a safety mindsetTypical Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge and operational understanding of both Biomedical and Imaging equipment and how they interface with computer networksUnderstanding of current hospital regulatory requirements inclusive of CMS and CybersecurityBasic knowledge and understanding of computers and how they interface with medical equipmentBasic understanding of networking theory to include basics of IT language i.e. AD (Active Directory), VPN (Virtual Private Network)Ability to navigate proficiently within all platforms of Microsoft OfficeWorking in Healthcare Technology Management for Sodexo, you will partner with our Healthcare clients to manage their clinical technology needs.
