Job Title: Project Manager (Finance) Job Location: St. Louis, MO(Remote) Job Type: Contract  Interview: Virtual Note: The role requires a strong financial background more process-driven than technical  Job Description: The role requires the ability to oversee various deliverables, to work closely with key stakeholders and leaders, and to represent project status while facilitating all reporting and documentation needs. This Project Leader will be a trusted advisor working with senior leaders while driving a strategic engagement. Partner with business leaders and team to structure the questions to address, organize the work, manage resources, oversee and/or conduct analysis, synthesize findings, and develop recommendations. Supporting design and execution of the implementation process, including business requirement gathering, process documentation, and solutions design. Implementing change management strategies, ensuring stakeholders and teams are trained and adjusted to the new process. Overseeing projects relating to cash flow, financial reporting, and revenue and expenses Ensure project schedule, scope, and quality objectives are met by monitoring, using metrics and controls to measure progress, taking preventative and corrective action, and escalating issues and risks when necessary. Gathering and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and/or develop solutions to keep projects on budget and on time Assess trade-offs to the scope using cost/benefit analysis and make recommendations to leaders Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across multiple areas, divisions, outside vendors, and project leaders/teams who are working on sub-projects within the project Follow company approach to project management and model best practices Requirements and preferred skills: At least 5 years of project management experience. 3+ years of experience leading projects with a high level of complexity/integration that includes other projects and project leaders 5+ years of financial services industry or position-related experience. Previous work experience with senior leadership A high degree of familiarity with standard enterprise collaboration tools, including MS Office, Visio, Zoom, and SharePoint. Considerable knowledge of industry and related country regulations and laws Ability to understand the business sufficiently to manage and orchestrate large scale projects and/or multiple small to medium size projects for both technology and business teams Deep knowledge of financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment topics The ability to compute and provide key information for management decision-making and to understand margin and financial return drivers. Excellent organizational, project management and communications skills to effectively partner and collaborate with investment team experts and coordinate between internal and external partners to deliver on deadline Project management certification (PMP, scrum, etc.)
