Monday – Friday / 8:30 am – 5 pm
Position Summary:
Provide assistance to the hardware engineering team in various stages of automated medical diagnostic instrumentation development. Work under the direction of Engineers and Technicians to provide various support tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities (may include any of the following):
• Component / sub-system / instrument assembly
• Component and assembly design and modeling using SolidWorks
• Test and assembly fixture design and modeling
• Test execution, statistical analysis and report preparation
• Tolerance analysis
• Analytical evaluations via hand calculations or FEA analysis
• Pre-production documentation management
• Generate drawing changes and supporting documentation for Engineering Change Orders
• Review drawings, schematics and other engineering documentation for accuracy and adherence to standards. BD04123JD
