Assignment Description:Assist the EH&S Communications Specialist whose core responsibilities are as follows:The principal responsibilities of the Specialist in EH&S Communications, Reporting, and Analysis are to frame and plan communications initiatives to support the business objectives of EH&S, which focus on maintaining employee and public safety and minimizing the environmental impacts of company activity.Assigned functions include:Plan, authorize, edit, and distribute communications that provide a narrative framework for the dataParticipate in developing the group's business plan, help establish the group's tactical and strategic communications objectives, and implement the plans.Participate in off-site EH&S activity in field visits and outreach events. Acquire EH&S information from a wide variety of sources within the company's operating groups.Research, plan and create communications for EH&S employees and all company employees. The process also includes editing, copy-editing, and content review for a wide variety of communications that may include print, videos, PowerPoint presentations, posters, leaflets, e-mail, and more.Collaborate on communications planning, projects, and programs that are published on the external website.Manage communications, reporting, and analysis content on the department's intranet site, which is available to all company employees.Coordinate special communications efforts, such as executive presentations.Serve as a liaison and create a conduit for open communication between other organizations.Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.Qualifications:Bachelor or Associate degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Math, Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred. 2 years of work experience preferred but not required.High proficiency in computer skills is required with the ability to learn new technologies as needed.Strong organizational, leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills.Must be flexible and can complete multiple assignments with changing priorities while still meetings deadlines.Experience in communications and marketingProficiency in SharePoint, video production/editingThe position will be part-time. Working between 9 am and 5 pm. Hours are flexible, estimated between 4-8 hours. The position is both remote and onsiteCovid-19 Vaccination is required
