Job Title: Power BI/Qlik Developer Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (Hybrid) Job Duration: 9+ month contract + extensions Job Overview: Work with stakeholders and development team to determine project scope and vision, gather and prioritize collected requirements Provide technical support in developing, monitoring, and maintaining a high volume of complex data processes. Create complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for the Data Analytics process. Develop complex Power BI/Qlik reports. Be perceptive, creative, and a reliable problem-solver Be independently motivated to take end-to-end ownership of your projects Ensure technology solutions align with business needs and strategic goals Research, document, test, and leverage business solutions Verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems utilizing knowledge of software applications and configuration Maintain procedures manuals and system documentation Conduct research on software and hardware solutions to support recommendations, analyzing current and future technology trends Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in report development using Power BI/Qlik 5+ years of experience in SQL Server, writing complex SQL and creating stored Procedures Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high velocity, environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities under pressure. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps Ability to understand customer requirements and translate these into solution specifications and system designs. Ability to drive effective meetings: workshops, design, and problem-solving sessions. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting, and communicating with users and customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated initiative, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to succeed
