We are currently hiring for Quality Assurance in Glens Falls, NY.1st Shift position Basic Qualifications:• Associate Degree in Engineering, Scientific or Technical discipline, or• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in medical device manufacturing.• Ability to translate technical documents to manufacturing operators.• Ability to be flexible and deal with changing priorities.• Demonstrates strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, both internal and external.• Take initiative in learning new technologies and materials.• Customer focus, innovative, results oriented.• Ability to solve problems and conflicts, work well with others and demonstrate team work.• Demonstrates a solid work ethic and positive demeanor/attitude.Essential Job Functions:• Support facility’s Quality System and tactical plans.• Design, develop, qualify, and validate manufacturing processes and tooling/equipment.• Drive continuous improvement, improved safety and cost reductions.• Participate in cross functional project teams and execute individual project tasks.• Perform mechanical/electrical testing and gauge R&R studies.• Statistically analyze data (eg: process capability, Design of Experiments).• Trouble-shoot processes, equipment and quality systems and develop/implement corrective and preventive actions.• Provide sound engineering judgment and decisions.• Knowledgeable on materials for GFO product designs in areas of responsibility• Qualify and validate new material and suppliers.• Effectively train manufacturing employees on specifications and processes.• Author CRs, protocols, technical reports and AFEs.• Technical interface with manufacturing teams.• Perform other duties as assigned.CorTech Cares:  *Pay Options: Direct Deposit, Paper Checks or pay cards; paid weekly  *Health/Dental/Vision Insurance options compliant with the ACA  *401k  *Online Employee Portal to adjust withholdings and view and print pay stubs  We look forward to working with you; CorTech Cares!  APPLY Today!    CorTech has over 8000+ associates in the United States in various verticals and industries with over 5000+ working in manufacturing, industrial, production, factory, distribution and/or warehouse roles ranging from the assembly, forklift, machine operator, warehouse, maintenance, packaging, order pick/pack and general labor.
