Quality Assurance Chemist Apply
Requirements:
Strong computer skills
B.S. degree in a chemistry related field
Experience in laboratory environment or synthesis chemistry desired
Ability to perform light duty work including lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
Fundamental understanding of laboratory chemistry techniques and how to interpret chemical analytical test using primarily Chromatography techniques
Capable of independent work in a quality controlled environment with high attention to detail.
Schedule:
Standard, flexible 8 hour shift M-F with occasional coverage necessary during off hours. T
Duties:
Support production and process development activities
Responsibilities:
Safe operation in a chemical laboratory environment
Manage small scale organic synthesis reactions to confirm specific materials and ratios will meet desired quality standards
Prepare materials from inventory and maintain lot traceability
Organize and prioritize multiple batches, troubleshoot and solve problems
Prepare samples to the Quality Control Laboratory for analysis
Communicate any process anomalies or variations
