Quality Assurance Tech - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2 pm to finish - Monday - Friday
The Equipment Fulfillment Center QA Tech ensures all equipment meets the predetermined quality standards set by management. This position will serve as the final check point before equipment is received by the customer. He or she will work with the management team to determine what types of training are needed by employees to improve EFC quality score. The QA tech will be able to train and assist EFC technicians on all equipment types. They will serve as back up support for EFC technicians. The EFC QA Tech will need to be focused on future development to include EFC Supervisor positions and may serve as back up support. Performs all required functions within the SAP HH to facilitate equipment movements. Understands all QA standards. Checks machines & provides a pass/fail rating. Documents all QA failures Communicates all QA failures to appropriate EFC Technician. Verifies all QA failure repairs are made with a second 20-point QA test. Meets with EFC Management, reports all QA failures and provides solutions. Assists with training & development of all EFC Technicians. Understands and is accountable for all quality metrics of EFC. Ensures Salvage Parts, Warranty, Triage and Safety processes are followed. Drives EFC metrics results on ground level. Performs Ground Bound and Hi-Pod Tests per QA guidelines. Serves as a Safety Champion
EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED: High School Diploma or Equivalent
EDUCATION LEVEL PREFERRED: Technical School
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Related service experience. 7-10+ years field mechanical experience
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 10+ years of internal mechanical repair experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to lift at least 50 lbs
