Quality Assurance Technician Apply

Job Description
Support Quality processes at Janesville Warehouse (CJAP). Responsible for materials transactions on information systems (Oracle, CQMS, etc.). Manages, assist, or coordinate quality inspection jobs, sorting projects, vendor returns, and customer returns and maintain documentation and records. Works under moderate supervision
Responsibilities
Compare physical characteristics of components, materials and products to technical specifications to identify defects
Manage MRB process from start to end
Conduct checks on parts at inbound for probable damages and file claims with freight carriers or coordinate with suppliers
Support daily Quality processes to ensure a dependable and efficient material flow at the warehouse.
Manage daily, Non-Conformance material events, ensuring quick and proper physical and systemic segregation.
Effective Non-Conformance material segregation and coordination with 3rd party logistic providers Quality representative.
Daily CQMS data entry for Non-Conformance material and product at the warehouse.
Assist, support, and coordinate quality sorts at the warehouse ensuring product integrity and inventory control prevail.
Manage physical NCM inventory and provide Non-Conformance reliable information on timely manner to business stakeholders who have products coming to that warehouse.
Position Requirements
* High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required
* Minimum of one year of experience in quality processes and systems is required – the more experience a candidate has the better!
* Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is an absolute must
* Problem solving training or certification is a plus
* ERP and Quality System training or experience is preferred but not required. Extensive training will be provided for this role.
* Good communication and presentation skills are very important as the selected hire will be working with a diverse group of people.
