JOB DESCRIPTION:

The QA Lab is located inside the manufacturing facility. This person will be rquired to follow company GMP and safety practices.
Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:
•Maintain, clean, and sanitize microbiology laboratory and equipment. Prepare micros samples and other microbiological materials. Maintain samples and record microbiological analysis results.
•Perform microbiological analysis on the following: package product, water samples, packaging process areas, sugar tanks.
•Report non-conformances to the appropriate department personnel and investigate as needed.
•Be available to the QA Manager for other projects including but not limited to laboratory assistance, auditing and QA data analysis as needed.

Qualifications:
•B.S. degree from an accredited college in microbiology, chemistry, related science discipline or equivalent industry experience/education.
•Minimum of 2 years of practical, hands-on beverage manufacturing, production, or laboratory work is preferred.
•Experience in a quality department in food manufacturing or processing environment is preferred.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Effective analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
