JOB TITLE: Quality Control Analyst - 1st Shift

LOCATION: Trumbull, CT

PAY RATE: $14.
00 - $24.
00 per hour.

Summary:

  • Develops and implements testing and inspection procedures.
  • Tests raw material, chemicals, and/or finished product to quality controls to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations.

  • Audits testing results to determine if product specifications are met.
    Advises operating units on quality control standards for raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished products.

  • Recommends corrective action where necessary and develops plant quality control manuals.

  • Perform the following inspection tasks on components listed on training Competency Sheet: Evaluation Inspection and Final Inspection.

  • Perform the following inspection tasks as assigned on all components worked in the facility: Receiving Inspections, Preliminary Inspections, and In-Process Inspections.

  • Use precision measuring instruments and gages such as feeler gages, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.

  • Evaluate the repair work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources for completeness and compliance to technical data.

  • Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORI's, OREI's, drawings, check sheets, etc.

  • Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, operational sequence and recorded information on appropriate documentation.

  • Interpret documentation received with incoming cores to determine adequate traceability and history.

  • Research compliance requirements of components in work using AD's, ASB's, and other technical data.

Required Skills:

  • Must know where to find technical data such as operation sheets, manuals, ASB's, ORI's, OREI's and blueprints.

  • Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.

  • Filing and archiving of records

  • Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
