JOB TITLE: Quality Control Analyst - 1st Shift
LOCATION: Trumbull, CT
PAY RATE: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Summary:
- Develops and implements testing and inspection procedures.

Tests raw material, chemicals, and/or finished product to quality controls to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations.

Audits testing results to determine if product specifications are met. Advises operating units on quality control standards for raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished products.

Recommends corrective action where necessary and develops plant quality control manuals.

Perform the following inspection tasks on components listed on training Competency Sheet: Evaluation Inspection and Final Inspection.

Perform the following inspection tasks as assigned on all components worked in the facility: Receiving Inspections, Preliminary Inspections, and In-Process Inspections.

Use precision measuring instruments and gages such as feeler gages, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.

Evaluate the repair work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources for completeness and compliance to technical data.

Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORI's, OREI's, drawings, check sheets, etc.

Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, operational sequence and recorded information on appropriate documentation.

Interpret documentation received with incoming cores to determine adequate traceability and history.

Research compliance requirements of components in work using AD's, ASB's, and other technical data.
Required Skills:

Must know where to find technical data such as operation sheets, manuals, ASB's, ORI's, OREI's and blueprints.

Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.

Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
