SUMMARY: The QA Rigger ensures the accuracy of the work performed by the paraloft personnel to include the proper rigging of parachutes, completion of parachute records, and daily conformance to ISO, safety, and government regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Every employee is responsible for knowing and supporting the quality policy and must comply with published Personnel Policies including but not limited to: providing a harassment free/non discriminatory work environment and drug-free workplace; in accordance with State and Federal laws, or face disciplinary action which may include possible prosecution and/or termination of employment. 1. Review the Parachute Record for accuracy against internal documents and referenced technical manuals. Upon review, the QA Rigger shall sign each record as evidence that this form meets the regulatory requirements. 2. Review the Parachute Systems assembly, folding, stowage, vacuum seal, and final closing. At stated check points, must inspect the product for conformity per drawings, internal documents and referenced technical manuals. Upon review, the QA Rigger shall sign the records as evidence that this process meets the regulatory requirements. 3. Perform product verification for parachute assemblies. 4. Understands and supports relevant Quality System requirements. Understands and implements jobs in accordance with BAE's standard work and quality standards. 5. Works in compliance with OSHA regulations, BAE safety rules and housekeeping requirements at all times. 6. Maintains BAE forms/documentation and government regulatory documentation as required. 7. Maintains and uses calibrated tools. Observes tool control requirements at all times. 8. Responsible to inspect various life support equipment: a. Survival items into survival kit bag. b. Vacuum seal life raft assembly. c. Install parachute hardware. 9. Performs rigger verification inspections. 10. Performs both major and minor repairs on parachute systems as required. 11. Assists with training as required. Provides instruction to new loft personnel for assembly, rigging, inspection, packing, vacuum sealing, and final closing of parachute systems. 12. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Completion of High School or equivalent. 2. Good communication skills and able to read, write, speak, and understand English. 3. Ability to operate inspection tools. 4. Ability to interpret technical data and read drawings. 5. Must be self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision. 6. Must demonstrate ability to work effectively with others. 7. Problem solving, judgment, and decision making skills.

Experience
1. Minimum of one years of experience as paraloft parachute rigger 2. Ability to operate inspection tools 3. Ability to interpret technical data and read drawings
