R2 Machine Operator Apply
CorTech Staffing is seeking mechanically inclined Operators for our Food Production Client in Janesville, WI.
1st Shift 5am till done
2nd Shift 2pm till done
Must be flexible to work up to 10 hours per day
Pay $16.00 - $17.50/hr depending on shift
Job summary
Position runs R2 machine in a safe, efficient manner. Keep the operation of the machine continues by unjamming the product and resetting the machine. They also keep the quality aspect in mind as they function the machine by checking for leaks, confirming date code, and watching for damaged packaging. They need to understand any set procedures and notify maintenance in a timely manner when there is ongoing downtime. All scrap and downtime and reports must be turned in and reported to the supervisor/lead person ongoing throughout the shift. At the end of each shift, the machine must be cleaned along with all items in the R2 room.
Summary of essential job functions
Perform set up and changeover of product
Unjam product in a safe manner
Check product for leakage, and correct information
Complete all cleaning procedures
Report all maintenance issues
Report all downtime & turn in all information
Remove all trash
Clean R2 areas
Return all unused cartons to storage area
Assist unloaded when necessary
Minimum requirement:
High school Education / mathematical / able to communicate clearly/ Read & Write clearly
Abilities required
Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time.
Must be able to push/ pull carts of 60 to 100 pound s of force
