<p><strong>Drupal Developer</strong><br /> <strong>100% Remote</strong><br /> <strong>9 + Months</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br /> Support in refining and implementing front-end UX changes. <br /> Participates in team daily standups and other agile (scrum or kanban routines) <br /> Solicits missing information from stakeholders (in or outside team) to clarify requirements before beginning work. <br /> Triage and diagnose issues and implement appropriate software web code to resolve the issue(s), test and then deploy on to production environments<br /> Writes high-quality code or markup including: PHP, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and CSSDevelops technical documentation and architecture diagrams. <br /> Development with frameworks and tools such as: Drupal 9, React, Fleet, SASS; Docker, Behat, PHP Unit; GitHub, TravisCI, Acquia Hosting, AWS<br /> Responsible for ensuring that custom Drupal modules are contained within the City's code repositories and remain compatible with current Drupal Framework versions.<br /> <br /> <strong>Candidates must have:</strong><br /> Recently experienced three years of full-time developing or managing enterprise Drupal websites, version 8 or 9.<br /> Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript technologies with strong knowledge of Drupal and React implemented within the Drupal framework<br /> Salesforce experience sufficient to develop and support applications in Drupal.<br /> SQL experience sufficient to develop and support applications with a database back-end.<br /> Demonstrated a user-centric philosophy of application development, with a strong desire to understand underlying user needs and the ability to effectively serve them with well-designed technology.<br /> Mapping experience with Google Maps. <br /> Experience scripting APIs <br /> Experience with agile (scrum or kanban) software development methodologies<br /> Experience with Jira<br /> Efficient approach to development projects, with an orientation towards more nimble development methodologies.<br /> Strong familiarity with modern web development best-practices, including the use of javascript and UI frameworks, mobile responsive sites, web services, and the use of SaaS platforms.<br /> Strong familiarity with testing and ensuring ADA & WCAG accessibility requirements.</p> <p> </p>
