In our highly collaborative, global environment, you'll be involved in every phase of application development lifecycle, consulting and collaborating with business leaders, end user, IT staff, vendors, and other third parties. Essentially, you'll use development and applications administration/support skills in the configuration, customization, maintenance, and interfacing of Commercial of the Shelf (CoTs) business applications in the GDMS infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include requirements specification, solution design, prototype plans, developing and testing code, solution release, and supporting issue analysis and resolution. We'll rely on you to design creative prototypes according to specifications, write high quality source code to program complete applications within schedule deadlines and ensure application interoperability with IT infrastructure components while ensuring compliance with wide-ranging information security requirements. Duties and Tasks: Uses development and applications administration skills in the configuration and maintenance of GDMS on-prem implementation of Remedy ITSM 20.02, AR System and Digital Workplace. Triages and resolves new and existing incidents and work orders of varying degress of complexity related to Remedy ITSM 20.02, AR System and Digital Workplace Provides on-call support including off-hours availability on rotation Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills and able to effectively communicate with senior managers, end users and IT staff to resolve or complete reported issues and requests. Develops new integrations by consulting and collaborates with stakeholders (senior managers, end users and IT staff) on requirements specification, solution design, prototype plans, developing and testing code, release, and supporting issue analysis and resolution Ensures application interoperability with IT infrastructure components while ensuring compliance with wide-ranging information security requirements Ensures application integration interoperability with other applications or subsystems (e.g. interface management, data integration systems, job automation) Troubleshoots and debug applications Evaluates existing application and integration code to reprogram, update and add new features Recommends coding fixes to resolve outstanding issues and work to enhance applications to automate business process as best possible Develops technical documents to accurately represent application design and code Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 4+ years' experience as a developer and/or application administrator for Remedy ITSM, AR System and Digital Workplace. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering and/or related field or equivalent experience, plus 8 years of related experience or Master's degree and 6 years of related experience Demonstrated ability to program in at least on programming language (e.g., such as C#, Java, .Net) and SQL scripts and other scripting languages Strong understanding of solutions development methodologies (e.g. DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.) 4+ years' experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting web-service integrations (REST, SOAP) between Remedy and other systems. Understands business stakeholder requirements, gain a thorough understanding of their desired business outcomes, and how they translate in application features Exhibits subject matter expertise and in-depth application administration knowledge Strong understanding of software design and programming principles. Proven organizational skills including superior ability handle multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously; a track record of exercising independent judgment appropriately; and the ability to quickly understand and execute complex assignments Solid presentation, oral/written communication, and inter-personal skills Proven experience developing solutions to problems requiring business acumen, technical knowledge, ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
