Installs, monitors, and manages Windows, Virtualized (\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Vmware\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"), or Unix/Linux server infrastructure. Windows System Administrators will also install, monitor, and manage advanced features (e.g. Microsoft clusters, Hyper-V installations). Performs installations, patches, upgrades, capacity planning and performance tuning, through approved change management mechanisms. Manages incident tickets too resolution, within SLA and to approved documented standards. Diagnoses/repairs system problems; utilizing tools sets available and working closely with other internal group/vendor support. Diagnoses, monitors, and troubleshoots system performance. Responsible for projects as a team member and may lead internal project initiatives. Maintains and monitors Compliance to Corporate Security policies; Administrative Accounts use, Anti virus, Patch status, Services etc. Ensures all corporate processes are adhered to ensuring changes to the Enterprise Service infrastructure are fully documented following the best practice principles of ITIL We will count on you to: Work within a global team reporting into a regional lead and work closely with other technical teams supporting the Windows server fleet, on premise and within the public cloud Provide technical leadership to others across the organization You may lead internal project initiatives or work closely with Project Managers to understand deliverables and meet delivery deadlines Estimate and plan projects requiring you to organize your own work effectively Work with the business to outline, plan and execute changes Analyse operational data to identify and plan remediation as needed Manage and maintain service performance through diagnosis, monitoring and troubleshooting Investigate root cause of system failures and propose corrective actions to prevent future occurrence Maintain the lifecycle of system agents, patching, system compliance and capacity planning What you need to have: Hands on Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS roles and features Possess infrastructure support experience with Microsoft Server OS 2012 / 2016 / 2019 on both physical and virtual platforms Experience of working with common server agents such as anti-virus, vulnerability scanning and backup Have a record of accomplishment of identifying and delivering operational improvements, both technical and process Show a willingness to work across technical teams globally Be able to collaborate with senior team members to present new ideas Working experience with Active Directory, Identity & Access Management Show strong knowledge and troubleshooting experience across DNS and MS Active Directory Sites & Services Knowledge of Group Policy Management Experience of working with file shares alongside Domain DFS Experience troubleshooting access to file shares and NTFS permissions What makes you stand out?
