RF Design JD:

  • RF RAN Design expertise in technologies such as LTE and preferably in 5G-NR; Experience in 3.5 GHz CBRS is a plus.
  • Design expertise in Macro network, small cell as well as heterogeneous networks.
  • Ability to code in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, ArcMap, MapInfo & Alteryx.
  • Experience with RF Tools such as Atoll & Infovista Planet.
  • Link budget, coverage and capacity dimensioning.
  • 5G-NR/LTE experience such antenna & propagation model selection, capacity analysis & testing.
  • Network design related statistics, work with different technologies to determine where coverage/capacity requires enhancement.
  • Ability and experience in site survey, site selection & site configuration.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP Rel 15+ , RF Technology (Modulation, Coding, end-to-end call/data processing), 5G-NR Architecture, SA and NSA modes.
  • Ability to write Macros in VBA, Python, MSO (Excel, PPT, Visio..), Machine Learning & Analytic skills,
  • The individual will help in designing turnkey outdoor/indoor projects as well as mixed environments.
  • Attention to details and motivation to learn and grow.
  • Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision, collaborate with teammates and cross-functional groups, communicate on the level of others, listen and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace.
  • Independent work style and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Strongly motivated individual willing to learn new technologies and concepts.
  • Must be flexible to travel if needed.
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master Degree is preferred.
