1 to 3 years of experience on new grad

1. Develop and deploy metrics to drive efforts towards the achievement of the business unit goals.

2. Research, implement and own Equipment Monitoring (vibration analysis, oil analysis, water chemistry analysis, thermography, UE surveillance).

3. Facilitate activities to dive into and correct repeat failures and reduce costly downtime events.

4. Develop FMEA processes for new or existing equipment.

5. Plan out required testing and performance evaluation to assess potential risks to production and safety.

6. Provide solutions to recurring failures by performing RCA and identifying corrective action.

7. Perform statistical data analysis to predict and minimize failures.

8. Work with the maintenance teams to develop processes that increase reliability.

Owns development of high level maintenance programs such as boiler and pressure vessel with local regulations.

Responsible for risk based maintenance.
Reduce manufacturing costs by eliminating waste, preventing obsolescence, and maintaining repair part inventories at the appropriate level.
Develop and deploy metrics to drive efforts towards the achievement of the business unit goals.
Maintain all monitored PDM parameters within specification through partnership with the Maintenance and Operations teams.
Reliability of inspection based maintenance items and risk based maintenance approach.

Skills & Requirements
Scope Data/Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

The employee will be working at times in an office environment (25%) and reminder of the time in a heavy industrial environment exposing the employee to Foundry operations. The employee will be exposed (75% of the time) to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust. Fumes, and Metallic Particles.
The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, Walking, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Reaching, and Talking, Seeing, Hearing and Sitting. The majority of the actions will be walking and standing.


Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 1 to 2 to years of heavy industry experience in a reliability role.
Minimum of five (1) to seven (3) years of project or plant engineering experience, preferably in the foundry or heavy metals industry.
Computer proficient with the ability to utilize common software programs.
Live and present Forterra values.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret and present technical data.
Ability to work across departmental lines and perform effectively in a cross-functional team culture.
Capable of working in a diverse workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Vibration Analysis Certification 1 and 2 preferred

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Traits: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Maintenance Costing
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate on all levels.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to present and speak in public.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meeting all required deadlines.
Strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.
Understanding the importance of safety and the desire to follow all established procedures when required.
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Ability to practice 5S.
