Remote - Customer Technical Support Representative Apply
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's degree plus at least ten years related experience • Experience as Database Administrator in SQL Server Environment • Experience supporting database sizes about 200GB to 2TB in size • Experience supporting multiple instances of SQL 2000-SQL 2014 in production environment with components including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Clusters. • Experience with Database Management and database monitoring tools such as DMVs, PerfMon, Profiler, Extended Events, third party tools such as Spotlight, Foglight , Performance Analyzer, Redgate SQL Monitor, Idera Diagnostic Manager, Idera SQLSafe , Litespeed • Experience designing and documenting processes and procedures, database migration plans, database upgrade plans as per business requirements. • Experience in designing, configuring and maintaining High Availability and DR Solutions. • Powershell, C# or .NET Scripting is a plus Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Must be detailed-oriented, results-driven, highly energetic and motivated. • Able to communicate efficiently and effectively to technical and non technical audiences. • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks. • Ability to provide guidance to team members to meet deadlines and objectives • Strong commitment towards SDLC/Change Management Principles • Knowledge of data quality, data management and data testing strategies and practices. • Experienced with SQL installation on standalone and cluster servers across multi-subnet environments • AWS/Microsoft Azure Services, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, Windows Server Administration.
