JOB DESCRIPTION:

Remote Data Integration Specialist The Finance Analytics Specialist is responsible for optimizing data and data pipeline architecture. Role is responsible for obtaining and transforming data in support of ACG's Finance department's data initiatives. What you will do: Enable timely and accurate Financial reporting by identifying, ingesting, retrieving, and transforming data Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Google Cloud Platform 'big data' technologies. Improve decision-making by transforming and preparing data across multiple platforms, i.e. GCP, PeopleSoft, Insurance/Club/Membership systems for use in dashboards and reporting Support Executive-level decisions through ad hoc data retrieval and analysis Develop moderately complex queries to support all aspects of departments reporting initiatives Collaborate across Lines of Business and technical teams on best practices to integrate data and use cases to identify new data that can bring value to our financial reporting and analysis Assist in developing controls to ensure data completeness and accuracy Finance Analytics Specialist will earn a competitive salary of $70,000 to $105,000 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance. Benefits include: 401k Match Medical Dental Vision PTO Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement Qualifications: We're looking for candidates who: Preferred Qualifications Strong SQL skills 3+ years' experience ingesting, transforming, landing, and productionizing data in a cloud data environment Python scripting Experience working in Google Cloud environment Experience creating ad hoc reports and dashboards in DataStudio Experience creating ad hoc reports and dashboards in Tableau Experience combining data from multiples of formats: Tables, JSON, XML, CSV, TXT, etc. Familiar with Google Cloud Platform Service cloud services like: Cloud Sql, BigQuery, DataFlow, DataPrep, AppEngine   II. Required Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in Finance, Statistics, or Computer Science or related field Experience: 3 or more years ingesting, transforming, landing, and productionizing data in a cloud data environment 3 or more years building datasets for use in corporate reporting and visualization 3 or more years exploratory data analysis Knowledge and Skills: Experience working in cloud environment; i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake Knowledge of information technology including database, desktop computing skills, use of standard business application software and business intelligence (BI) systems. Familiar with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: i.e.: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc. Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets. Ability to work with internal clients and associates at all levels, both technical and non-technical in nature Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing What it's like to work for us: We serve our members by making their satisfaction our highest priority.
