Revenue Specialist I (Disputes-Resolutions)
Pay Rate: $17/HR

Cortech is seeking Revenue Specialist in Cheektowaga, NY.

The Revenue Specialist processes customer disputes by evaluating available dispute information. Investigates disputes in order to identify and determine root cause issues and implement resolution solutions. Evaluates dispute validity and notifies the customer or appropriate department of resolution and escalates dispute solutions in order to ensure resolution

Job Duties:
1. Analyze customer disputes to determine their validity and implement appropriate resolution actions.
2. Determine root causes of disputes (i.e. pricing problems, billing errors, weight changes, customer misconception) and implement root cause solutions for customer disputes.
3. Maintain ownership throughout the dispute process including all follow up steps.
4. Maintain an effective relationship with the collections team building a collaborative environment.
5. Work with various departments to ensure correct path in fixing errors.
6. Professionally communicate with customers and other departments to escalate dispute resolution solutions.
7. Balance efforts with profitable handling of accounts and the customer’s expectations.
8. Receive and maintain incoming communication, including correspondence and telephone calls on assigned accounts from terminals customers, and various internal departments.
9. Provide feedback to Management and Sales to assist in the increase of customer satisfaction and retention.
10. Work with collections and sales teams to inform and increase knowledge base for customer satisfaction.


Requirements:
1. Two (2) years of experience in revenue management or related experience.
2. Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to identify root cause issues and determine appropriate actions to resolve.
4. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Detail oriented, self-motivated, goal/results-driven individual.
6. Experience using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Power Point).
7. Transportation industry experience.
