MDG Project Manager
- Execution of master data governance vision, strategy, processes and tools.
- Manage and drive continuous improvement of data governance and data maintenance processes for implementing countries/entities
- Plan and develop processes, tools and integration for Master Data Processes, including data cleansing and data validation.
- Serve as the project manager for the SAP implementation project representing data initiatives globally
- Co-ordinate and support the development of the MDG and Data Migration processes including Data Map generation, validation and development, across all Business Process areas.
- Co-ordinate Data Migration integration with MDG for all modules across Business Process areas
- Co-ordinate MDG Team and other support groups for the execution of activities and deliverables.
- Co-ordinate and guide MDG team and associated SME's
- Experienced in program management of MDG system with upstream and downstream applications, CR types and dependent activities, BRF workflow design and implementation
- Co-ordinate across legacy system to identify impacts and support development of solutions.
- Bring expertise and provide guidance for the program with industry best practices
- Identify, manage and control risks
Roles & Responsibilities
Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights Creating long- and short-term plans including setting targets for milestones and adhering to project deadlines Serving as a point of contact for Finance and Material & Supplier teams and coordinate with Splunk Analysts in gathering and assigning tasks/work to the Cognizant team Communicating with functional and technical project managers from Finance and Material & Supplier to keep the MDG Scope with their goals Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Manage the Jira and SNOW queue for Finance and Material & Supplier and prioritize the list of tasks/deliverables Perform sprint planning with assigned priorities & effort estimation Development lifecycle statuses in JIRA to review every story point in time and help with Backlog Grooming Produce metrics at the end of each Sprint/Project on JIRA/SNOW tickets closed user stories completed number of business rules..
