SDET Engineer Apply
| Technical/Functional Skills | 10+ years' experience working with web-based & cloud based software products/applications, APIs, Webservices and backend systems/applications - Ability to write code with knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms. - Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development - Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills - Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role - Experience working closely with development and business teams to present quality/test data, read business data, negotiate on the scope of test coverage/timing/resources, and to actively pull business requirements out of data/partners and distill them to test/risk strategy. - QE experience in J2EE technologies and databases(Relational & Non-relational) strongly preferred - Applied experience in QA/QE technologies using Git, Jenkins, Postman, JUnit, Soap UI, TestNG, Java, Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber; VersionOne, Jira; JMeter, Loadrunner, Jprofiler highly preferred - Experience with Scripting languages like Python,Ruby,Go,Shell, Perl, Bash, JavaScript or equivalent - Experience testing web services and APIs, GUIs, ETL for functionality,accessibility, regression, security, load, scalability, and high availability - Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies - Experience with white box and black box testing, building testing frameworks - Experience testing cloud based services / architecture (AWS, Azure, etc.) - Participate in Performance testing using LoadRunner,Jmeter - Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills - Understanding of product release cycles, code repositories, branching, labeling, and packaging |

| Roles & Responsibilities | YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE - Lead quality assurance testing for agile,cloud based web applications, APIs, Webservices, tools, and software features and projects - Define QA processes and methodologies and enforce them within the team - Define and implement automation based test strategies - Work on every aspect of automated testing that includes E2E,UI/Integration tests, responsive and break point testing, accessibility validation, API/functional tests, security and contract tests, performance and load tests - Develop in-house automation frameworks and tool evaluations to solve automation problems - Write, maintain, and execute test cases both automated and manual - Review and provide feedback on design and architectural documents for new features in the roadmap - Adhere to core testing principles set by team and group leadership - Identify opportunities for improved software development lifecycle with focus on automation and CICD - Can identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement efforts from inception to implementation - Guide and mentor junior members of the team - Produce accurate estimates and participate in daily task tracking activities - Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation - Troubleshoot critical defects in software coding throughout the software development lifecycle - Work closely with the developers and engineers to achieve a high level of code coverage - Work closely with offshore teams to ensure hand-offs are seamless - Socialize and collaborate testing efforts with peers |
