Job Title: Safety and Quality TechnicianClient Electronics is immediately hiring for Entry Level and Experienced Safety and Quality Technicians.Client provides support of the supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LED's, and Flat Screen TV's.A career with Client Electronics is an ongoing journey of discovery. They will ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, and emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.Core Responsibilities:• Developing and maintaining company inspection reports for safety and quality• Auditing operations and maintenance areas according to quality and safety standards.• Ensuring processes and procedures comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law.• Validating all test equipment is calibrated and working correctly• Reporting quality and safety issues immediately via the escalation process• Collating test drafting quality and safety reports• Assisting in root cause analysis investigation and resolution• Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes and safety• Ensuring Operations is executing their task with Safety and Quality on each shiftPhysical Attributes:• Walking approximately 5-6 miles per day• Occasional climbing of ladders (utilizing fall protection)• Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)• Bending of the knees and overhead reaching• PPE made available to workers includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical apron, gloves, etc.o Worker will be provided with vouchers to purchase safety boots, which they are required to wear.• Technicians must put on Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator (this type of respirator provides air from a cylinder through a mask connected to the cylinder) while working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes).Shift Information:• Technicians will work compressed (12-hour shifts) of 3 days on, 3 days off / 4 days on, 4 days off, essentially meaning our technicians have a lot of time off already built into their schedules. There is an opportunity for overtime.Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED equivalent• Safety / Quality Conscience – Root Cause and ISO TrainedPreferred Qualifications:• Technical degree or relevant technical training• Problem-solving skills and Root Cause Analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, 4M, 5M or 6M)• Understanding of Health and Safety practices (Strong OSHA, DOT or PSM Experience)• Awareness of ISO9000 / ISO9001• Analytical skills• Proficient with MS Office Suite• Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)• Lean Manufacturing knowledge• Knowledge of measurement• Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes• Planning and prioritizing activities• Good communication and interpersonal skills• Team working skills• Ability to work on own initiative.
