Cortech is seeking a Scientist for our client in Abbott Park, IL.


Job Description:
• R&D Scientist will work independently and as part of cross-functional teams supporting the development of diagnostic products.
• This position will work a minimum of 80% at a laboratory bench. Core duties include solution preparations, buffers, and special formulation. This is laboratory work. So it is on-site in Lake County. Following current rules when no lab work is required, working remote is expected. I would say 90% on site 10% home as an average.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences: Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry desirable.
• Familiarity with general computer applications for organization, report and analysis including Microsoft Office, word, excel, and outlook.
• Familiarity with basic statistical knowledge and scientific technical training to design, execute, and analyze experiments. Presentation skills are desirable.
