JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have the following contract role with us to work on our project with our Direct Client in Santa Clara, CA.
This is a 100% Onsite role
An ideal candidate is expected to reside close to or in commutable distance or relocate closer to the Client's Location.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing physical security systems and components
  • Programming, testing, and commissioning of new physical security systems installations
  • Developing and maintaining systems engineering documentation, including as-builts, programming sheets, playbooks, templates, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements for requests submitted by stakeholders
  • Administering and maintaining security systems data sources Generating ad-hoc reports (card access activity, equipment inventories, etc.
    )
  • Maintaining the physical security systems spares inventory
Qualifications:
  • Experience administering Lenel OnGuard access control and Avigilon video management systems
  • Experience with Mercury Security hardware components
  • In-depth knowledge of physical security technologies and concepts
  • Basic telecommunications networking knowledge (IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, HTTP)
  • An Associate's Degree in electronics, electrical or computer systems, or four years of relevant field experience, or equivalent combination of collegiate education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills - ability to break down a complex problem into its primitives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments and ensure the projects are tracking to deliverable dates
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and handling confidential information
  • Professional at all times with all levels of the company
  • Ability to accomplish projects with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in basic G Suite tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
