Sr. Application Software Engineer (Cloud) implements and owns end-to-end availability and reliability of our core cloud services. As Sr. Application Software Engineer (Cloud): • Implements and owns end-to-end availability and reliability of our core cloud services. • Proactively work to design, build, test and maintain scalable and highly responsive custom microservice API technology solutions to meet the business needs of client Cloud Services. • Design, build, test, and deploy cloud applications and REST APIs • Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements • Meet with business partners to understand business needs • Responsible for overall design of the solution • Design, build and test applications • Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality Our Comprehensive Benefits Package: • Flexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules and dress flexibility • Competitive pay • Paid Time Off including paid holidays • Health insurance coverage for you and dependents • 401(k) and stock purchase plans • Tuition reimbursement and best-in-class training and development Qualifications: Additionally you will bring: Experience building REST API's using Node.JS Experience automating deployments to cloud using CI/CD process Good understanding of NoSQL concepts and architecture Familiarity with modern design patterns around containers, Kubernetes, Event streaming, IaC, and some knowledge of either Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure Ability to articulate what a microservice is and what it's architecture entails Familiarity with common code vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them Experience with git and Jenkins and some experience around CI/CD Pipeline tools like Gitlab or AWS CodePipeline or some other cloud deployment pipeline tool Understanding of Agile, Scrum and DevOps methodologies.   Our client is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity, and values the ways in which we are different.
