JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Manager, Finance (Lab) leads the team supporting Client Labs General Accounting and FP&A functions. This position ensures timely annual budget and forecasting preparation, guarantees accurate financial and metric reporting, and leads analysis of projects and business processes. In addition, this position will also oversee preparation of journal entries and the month-end close process. Detailed analysis includes process improvement initiatives, pricing and contract analysis, profitability analysis, report writing and QA, and support of any major projects. This position compiles and analyzes financial information, develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. The Senior Manager, Finance interacts with teammates and leaders at all levels within Client Labs, as well as collaborating with corporate and field teams.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leads month-end close process & journal entry preparation- 25% Oversees, prepares & reviews annual budget and quarterly forecasts- 20% Reviews and prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, and maintains integrity of financial reporting system- 20% Drives financial reviews with internal Senior Management- 15% Provides leadership and support to teammates in regards to goal setting, workload planning, communications, and policies and procedures- 10% Reviews costs and performs cost-benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs- 5% Performs any necessary financial variance analysis and provides detailed recommendations- 5% This position does have direct reports   Education & Experience 6-8 years of related experience Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred CPA strongly preferred Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office apps required Excellent understanding of Financial Statements required Data presentation and charting skills required Strong communication skills required Ability to create complex financial models for analytics around profitability, pricing, and operations required ability to motivate and lead others in order to achieve tasks and goals required knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, Microsoft forecaster and Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred   About Us Client Labs is a state-of-the-art clinical laboratory delivering timely, accurate lab results focused primarily on kidney care with a relentless commitment to quality.
