We always put our clients first to meet their evolving needs The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group is responsible for the overall financial management of our company. This includes accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet management, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, corporate investments and tax Global Banking and Markets Finance strives to be a valued business partner to the company's trading, corporate and institutional banking businesses. Our first priority is to operate a series of key control processes to ensure the integrity of GBAM's financial results. Then we build on these activities to offer performance insight to business leaders. The assets of Finance are its people. Business Finance Officers/Control (BFO/BFC) Partners directly with our Front Office LOBs providing strategic guidance and insight; Performs the product control function to ensure the integrity of our financial results. Team/Overview: The Deal Accounting team is part of the Global Banking BFO organization within GBAM CFO. The primary focus of our team is to support products across Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Global Markets. Key priorities for our team is to record origination transaction revenue and expense reimbursement for in scope products in the ledgers and management reporting tools; including tracking deal expenses; managing trading balances; client billing and receivable management; reconciliation and governance activities.   This role is predominately focused on: BFO/Controller Blend Our processes includes all activates from deal execution until settlement, and is an integral part of the FLU revenue booking, with revenue sharing, expense recovery and recharging, transfer pricing all part of the booking model.  The teammate in this role is responsible for: - Revenue bookings for Debt Capital Markets (DCM), calculating revenue and inputting in Sub/General Ledgers - Revenue Sharing GL entries for DCM and investigating revenue (and sharing) queries - Daily and Monthly Trading account management and break resolution across DCM - Managing DCM syndicate settlements, including working with offshore team - Month End Responsibilities for P&L and Balance Sheet responsibilities, including break/aging resolution - Monitoring and esclating outstanding payments, cash receipts and processing settlements - Reporting: Revenue Flashes; Receivables Reporting; E2A and Commentary - Disclosures: Arctic disclosures and other regulatory submissions - Supervisory Review: Preparation of reports and supporting documentation - Documentation: Building and enhancing the procedure notes library for the product team - General ad hoc assistance where needed within the team, including absence cover and projects As part of the responsibilities of the role, the teammate will develop business partner relationships with Investment Banking, Global Markets and Capital Mkts. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should gain exposure and acumen in legal and management reporting area of the organization, and develop or improve the following skills: product accounting, time management, multi-tasking , partnering and team building, communication and organization skills. The team is composed of approximately 15 employees located in 3 locations (5 New York NY, 6 Charlotte NC, 4 Gurugram, India)   Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree In-depth technical accounting knowledge, adept at using multiple complex systems Control focused, with experience within a financial accounting/control function Excellent written and verbal communication skills
