Responsibilities:
Manage commercial expense management for Global Franchises by partnering with commercial franchise leads and collaborating with franchise finance colleagues
Complete monthly closing activities, ensure compliance with expense policies, and report monthly actual results including variance analysis vs. forecast and budget
Develop accurate expense forecasts, budgets, and other analyses as required
Provide guidance on investment choices and allocation of expense targets
Provide reporting and analytical support to commercial franchise leads to help them track their performance vs. budget
Maintain and update standard planning reports and templates
Act as Steward for SAP Project Systems to track brand promotional spend
Prepare presentations for management review
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
Relevant financial planning business experience, including direct support of internal business customers
Extensive use of Excel and SAP, and familiarity with Power BI
Strong self-learning ability and ability to drive continuous improvement through optimizing processes
Well-developed planning, organization, prioritization, and communication skills
Professional written and oral communication skills
Preferred experience with management presentation preparation, data analytics, process optimization/automation
Note: The candidate will be required to work with commercial franchise leads, maintain compliance with expense policies, and develop accurate expense forecasts. Familiarity with SAP Project Systems and Power BI is desired.
The position requires a BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting and relevant financial planning business experience.
