Manager-Security & Operations Services

MountainWest Pipeline* is an interstate natural gas pipeline company that provides transportation and
underground storage services in Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. We own and operate 1,867 miles of pipeline with
total daily capacity of 2,530 MDth.

Job Summary - Physical Security Details
This Manager position ensures safe and cost-effective measures in providing MountainWest Pipeline, LLC (MW)
support services including: Physical Security, Facilities Management and Supply Chain/Fleet Management.

Physical Security.
o Manages physical security activities and services related to MW.
o Provides expert guidance to employees assigned to complex and critical physical, analytical, or technical security roles.
o Provides technical leadership of resources responsible for regulatory compliance activities, or using sophisticated security
technologies that impact a diverse, complex energy company.
o Interfaces and represents the company with a variety of federal, state and local government and law enforcement agencies. Ensures readiness and qualification of physical security personnel for daily security activities, as well as contingency response during emergencies.
o Manages costs for security services. Acts as expert on security issues and provides advice to management.
o Manages security initiatives to facilitate effective infrastructure protection strategies through MW.
o Ensures security regulatory compliance throughout MW.
o Manages the development of security plans and protocols to support regulatory and non-regulatory compliance at company facilities, related to access control.
o Provides technical leadership on all physical security aspects of the regulatory compliance process.
o Ensures completion of timely, relevant, energy-related intelligence gathering and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
o Develops and manages development of security plans, policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
o Manages contracts for physical and technical security services and ensure compliance.
o Oversees and conducts diverse, complex, and sensitive investigations into issues of significant consequence to the company.
o Conducts investigative interviews with internal and external subjects.
o Provides reports and presentations of investigative results.
o Develops and maintains a contingency plan for MW Services in case of a catastrophic event.
o Leads in emergency planning and implementation.
o Supports local safety committees and company efforts to ensure a safe work environment.

Job Summary - Facilities Management and Supply Chain/Fleet Management Details

Facilities Management.
o Manages all aspects of office services functions, to ensure efficiency in forms and procedures management, mailing services, records management, subscription centralization, and printing services.
o Print services include printing, shipping, and warehousing of print material, supplies, and completed products, and providing copy center functions.
o Manages contracts and conducts performance reviews of contractors.
o Manages acquisition, disposition, and leasing of company real estate, including offices, warehouses, raw land, and property across MW.
o Participates on site selection committees when company groups are determining locations of future offices or facilities.
o Works with national real estate firm for market data and system support.
o Prepares strategy for negotiating property sales, purchases, and lease buyouts.
o Develops acquisition and disposition budgets.
o Interacts with legal counsel for appropriate real estate support.
o Supports asset mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions involving real estate.
o Advises and provides daily guidance to all business units on real estate matters.
o Manages real estate associated with MW assets.

Supply Chain/Fleet Management.
o Leads and manages MW processes and resources for sourcing, logistics, and materials management efforts and interfaces with other functions to meet business needs.
o May manage spend analysis, prioritization, and selection of sourcing initiatives.
o May lead in major negotiations.
o May manage supplier integration.
o May establish technical and quality requirements, on safety and non-safety materials and services.
o May manage material control functions including warehousing, reclamation activities, and inventory control.
o May maintain effective asset recovery program.
o Manages MW fleet including vehicles and equipment.
o This involves procurement, establishing specifications and standards for vehicles, managing vehicle leases, titling, licenses,
rentals, disposition of retiring vehicles, and all other administrative requirements for maintaining a vehicle fleet.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
o 7+ years of related experience.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
o Good planning, organizational and project management skills.
o Effective decision-making skills.
o Effective customer service skills.
o Effective in team development and leadership skills in a diverse organization.
o Effective negotiating skills.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.

o Ability to develop, manage, and monitor project performance, to ensure results meet project requirements, budgets, and schedules

Education Requirements
o Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
o Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration preferred

o Valid drivers license required.
