C&I Compliance Role DescriptionThe Senior Specialist on the Operations team provides operational and planning support to the energy efficiency and demand management program including oversight of the Operations team workflow management process, coordination of projects and review project change requests to assess impact at project and program levels. In addition, the development of standards, tools and processes to effectively manage projects, resolve customer and program inquiries, and provide QA/QC for operations and program processes.The Senior Specialist reviews program information to ensure content integrity, performs analysis on program and process exceptions to support and develop key business process change initiatives; develops and monitors project analytics reports for program exception monitoring and contract adherence; leads the Operations team processing and review of invoices per contract line item and deliverables per program.Oversee workflow management processes for the programs and identify areas for improvements such as bottlenecks and address gaps and inefficiencies and take the lead in resolving process issues.Develop and monitor project analytics reports for program exception monitoring and contract adherence.Resolve customer, vendor and contractor inquiries and complaints and minimize the escalation of service-related issues.Provide QA/QC for operational and program processes; organize and implement peer-reviews and other quality checks on routine and non-routine procedures.Identify ways to standardize and improve processes between the programs, Operations and other stakeholders.Liaison between the Operations team and program teams on projects that require planning and design.Review program information to ensure content integrity.Oversee the weekly Electric, Gas and Clean Heat Lifetime savings calculation and reporting to BP&A.Oversee weekly Electric, Gas and Clean Heat program acquisitions and associated spend using Salesforce Dashboards and Excel.Take lead in assignment of projects to the Operations teamTake lead in running weekly payment batching.Perform other tasks and assignments as required.Work Experience:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) RequiredExperience with data analysis, ability to derive insights and trends, design reports and determine actionable steps RequiredExcellent oral and written communication skills RequiredExcellent interpersonal skills RequiredProven problem solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve process and customer service related issues RequiredProven understanding of the fundamentals of Energy Efficiency and current Energy trends RequiredCustomer service experience RequiredMinimum of three to five years of any combination of experience in utility energy efficiency, demand management or demand response programs PreferredExperience in program planning and administration, project management PreferredExperience in planning, managing, coordinating, reviewing and processing budgets and invoices PreferredDemonstrated ability to learn new software or databases quickly and become a super user PreferredCertification, experience or training in Salesforce PreferredEducation:Bachelor's Degree And 3 years Related work experience in the industry (required)Master's Degree Degree in Business Administration, Operations/ Process Management, Economics, Engineering, System Administration/ Data Management, or related fields (preferred)Fully Remote - Hours 9am - 5pmNJ/NY candidates preferred, but open to the rest of the US market for the right candidate.
