Senior Oracle DBA Apply
For a financial client we need Senior Oracle DBA. This position is based in Durham, NC or Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH. We are Primarily looking for W2 Candidates and not looking for Third Party Candidates.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
5+ years of IT experience including 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA supporting critical business applications
Proven experience in Oracle 19c or 12c RAC and multitenant database support
Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and assist application teams in troubleshooting and resolving database and SQL performance related issues
Experience in developing tools, standards, governance polices to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant delivery of database capabilities
Experience in deploying database schema management and implement database configuration changes in production.
Hands-on experience deploying and supporting databases in the Cloud(AWS/Snowflake) is preferred
Expertise developing CI/CD pipelines for database infrastructure/DDL/DML using tools including Jenkins, Jenkins Core, bitbucket or Stash, Artifactory, uDeploy, Terraform, and Concourse, etc.
AWS Certification(s) are desired
Programming skills in Linux shell scripting, PL/SQL, Python is desired
Excellent communication skills, both through written and verbal channels
Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
Ability to take initiative, deal with ambiguity, and work in fast paced environment
