OVERVIEW:

Client in Melville, NY is seeking a Senior Pan Tilt Zoom Camera Product Specialist (Sr Specialist, Product). This role is responsible for creating and implementing effective product marketing, product lifecycle management, marketing strategies, content development, market research and vertical marketing. This individual is highly energized with a forward thinking mindset and a curiosity for technology.

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and executes Product Business Case for new products and improvements to existing products
  • Gathers, manages, and prioritizes market/customer requirements and develop Product Requirement as input to CINC to acquire right products
  • Works with Marketing to develop Marketing Strategies including "Messaging" that will maximize the sales of the product
  • Coronates with the Marketing team to deliver the right messages, to the right customers, with the right media to create maximum demands of the product
  • Works closely with Marketing, Sales, and CSO to ensure the product business case and customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Has technical product knowledge expertise and acts as the product's specialist and central point of communication inside the company
  • Brief the sales teams in cooperation with the technical and Pro Reps team at Sales Meetings and other events
  • Possesses specialized knowledge or skills in a particular functional area
  • A fully qualified, seasoned professional with a full understanding of the job role who works on more complicated issues facing the department
  • Receives general instruction from manager on new assignments but little to no direction in day-to-day work
  • Typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager, and may mentor or supervise one or two less experienced professional staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

Please note: We comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, orders and mandates, including those we may be required to follow as a federal government contractor/subcontractor.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Audio Visual (pan tilt zoom cameras) experience preferred
  • Must have computer network, or Software Experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Exceptional knowledge of Sales and Marketing processes
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
  • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
  • The ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present and demonstrate the capabilities of our solutions to both internal and external customers
  • Must have the ability to travel within the country on a regular basis
  • Some overnight travel required
  • Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license in order to obtain the position
  • This position requires driving, therefore a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies
