Job Description:
- The candidate will be responsible for functional testing, the design and development of comprehensive automated test strategy and test cases within a QA framework that increases credibility, improves work processes, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review business and functional requirements in order to create test strategy and write detailed test cases
- Design effective component, system, functional and application level test scenarios in line with business requirements
- Develop and execute test plans (automated and manual) and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycle through automation.
- Build our test automation framework, tools, and technologies, to continually advance the output quality
- Work with cross-functional teams to build test scenarios during requirements and coding phases
- Identify required improvements in the test and development processes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 6 or more years of relevant Quality Engineering experience involving application development, deployment and testing, preferably in a financial trading environment
- High proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Experience with Python
