Group Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group is responsible for the overall financial management of our company. This includes accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet management, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, corporate investments and tax

Global Financial Control (GFC) is responsible for managing and executing consolidated financial and legal entity reporting; interpreting and applying accounting policy and standards; overseeing financial controls and operational risk assessments; managing and maintaining financial data and systems; managing general ledger and sub‐ledger accounting; and supporting tax activities. In short, our focus in GFC is to get the numbers right and to work in support of the company's goals, most importantly responsible growth.

Tax Accounting and Compliance (TAC) is responsible for the accounting and reporting of U.S. income taxes, calculation of Corporate Tax contributions for forecast and stress testing activities, and the preparation, filing and payment of US income tax compliance for federal, state and local jurisdictions.

 

Job Description

Responsible for oversight and review complex Accounting for Income Tax Routines and Audited Financial Statement disclosures. Routines include oversight of monthly legal and management book close processes, tax account analysis, return to provision analysis and intercompany settlement. This individual will also coordinate the workload with GFCI team and review work delivered by GFCI associates. The candidate will have direct communication with associates with varying levels of experience throughout the enterprise (TAC, GTP, Finance, Technology, Internal Audits, etc.) and with service providers, so great communication and teamwork skills are critical to success.

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 10+ years of public accounting firm or industry experience
  • Knowledge and working experience of ASC 740
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to analyze US GAAP accounting and tax laws
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work load in a dynamic environment in order to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Strong time management skills

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • CPA preferred
  • Corptax software experience
  • Experience with SAP general ledger platform
  • Emerging Technologies (ex: Tableau, Alteryx)
