JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for federal, state and other tax compliance filings including the review and signing of more complex state tax returns and approving related tax payments. Other responsibilities include, research technical tax issues impacting compliance filings, responding to IRS and state requests, project management, and identifying simplification opportunities and enhancements within the tax compliance processes. The candidate will have direct communication with associates with varying levels of experience throughout the enterprise (Corporate Tax, Finance, Technology, Operations, etc.) and with service providers. Great communication and teamwork skills are critical to success. 

 

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of corporate income/franchise tax experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work load in a dynamic environment in order to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Strong time management skills

 

Desired Skills

  • CPA preferred
  • Corptax software experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP general ledger platform and /or Emerging Technologies (ex: Tableau, Alteryx) preferred
