Group Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group is responsible for the overall financial management of our company. This includes accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet management, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, corporate investments and tax

 

Global Financial Control (GFC) is responsible for managing and executing consolidated financial and legal entity reporting; interpreting and applying accounting policy and standards; overseeing financial controls and operational risk assessments; managing and maintaining financial data and systems; managing general ledger and sub‐ledger accounting; and supporting tax activities. In short, our focus in GFC is to get the numbers right and to work in support of the company's goals, most importantly responsible growth.

 

Tax Accounting and Compliance (TAC) is responsible for the accounting and reporting of U.S. income taxes, calculation of Corporate Tax contributions for forecast and stress testing activities, and the preparation, filing and payment of US income tax compliance for federal, state and local jurisdictions.

 

Job Description

Preparation/review of Accounting for Income Tax routines, including: legal entity forecasting, external audited financial and regulatory reporting and federal/state return to provision calculations. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are needed to perform necessary analytical review and reconciliations. This role may also include participation on certain Tax Accounting and Compliance (TAC) projects which likely would be focused in the accounting for income tax area. The candidate will have direct communication with associates with varying levels of experience throughout the enterprise (Corporate Tax, Finance, Technology, Operations, etc.) and with service providers, so great communication and teamwork skills are critical to success.

 

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of public accounting firm or equivalent industry experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Ability to analyze US GAAP accounting and tax laws
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work load in a dynamic environment in order to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Strong time management skills

 

Desired Skills

  • CPA preferred
  • Knowledge and working experience of ASC 740
  • Corptax software experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP general ledger platform and /or Emerging Technologies (ex: Tableau, Alteryx) preferred
