The Risk & Finance Data Quality Control Executive requires a Head of Authorized Source Management. The role will report directly to the Data Quality Control Executive and will be primarily responsible for: Liaise with Data Policy teams to guide the strategic direction of data policies & standards Design, develop, and socialize annual Authorized Data Source adherence framework Conduct annual assurance activities (collect, analyse, and evidence) to demonstrate and prove adherence to Enterprise Data Strategy Policies & Standards Partner with CIO teams to evidence asset flow documentation, technical metadata, data quality controls, and business and technical rules Serve as ADS manager liaison responsible for communicating awareness and driving adherence to enterprise data policies & standards The Monitoring, Evidencing, and Conformance with Data Policies, Standards and Architectures are critical to supporting the deliver of data as an asset and digital transformation. It ensures all technology assets are clear on requirements and have the necessary frameworks and controls in place to ensure they support business to Provide accurate, well-controlled, on time data from reliable, always-protected systems   Principal Accountabilities: Key Activities and Decision Making Areas Impact on the Business / Function Accountable for enhancing and implementing the Authoritative Source Adherence Framework Establish and run the RFT ADS Technology engagement community to raise awareness and serve as a one stop shop for ADS managers and technology executives looking to align to Enterprise Data Management best practices Serve as primary liaison with ADS managers to raise awareness and improve education and transparency into the roles/responsibilities required of an ADS Deliver comprehensive and actionable insights on data policies and standards adherence including asset flow documentation, data dictionary, technical metdata management, and Data Quality controls design and implementation Stakeholders Build a common data culture between business leaders, architects and the CDO community to ensure clear lines of responsibility, accountability for all aspects of data ownership, data management and data remediation activities. Establish and maintain ownership matrix and strong stakeholder / sponsorship group Develop close and effective working relationships with COOs of business functions, IT architects, IT service owners, domain architects and the wider CDO community Act as a Subject Matter Expert for triaging and addressing issues relating to authorised source adherence Deliver fair and pragmatic outcomes for internal customers and ensure transparency and consistency in decision making based on agreed and communicated common principles.     Leadership & Teamwork Develop and communicate a clear vision of ADS Adherence requirements that is aligned to the overall data strategy for Bank of America Clear, concise and timely metrics and communication of those to key stakeholders demonstrating the value and effectiveness of the ADS adherance activities. Lead, develop and motivate the Authorized Source management team to attract, retain and develop appropriate levels of expertise and capacity to support the improvements ADS Adherence Framework.   Qualifications Education to degree level or above   Experience The role holder will need: Demonstrable track record of delivery in an information or business data architecture experience in an international role in a Tier 1 Financial Services firm. Experience in architectural strategy, policy design, process design, business architecture and management information reporting Expertise and experience in business information systems and analytics (strongly preferable) Demonstrable wide knowledge of financial services products and practices, preferably with more than 10 years' experience in financial services. Programme management experience and qualifications (preferable) Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across geographies and business units Highly motivated, delivery driven approach coupled with analytic and semantic rigour Awareness of data regulation and best practices in data management   Enterprise Role Summary: Responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Ensures people development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Develops a technology strategy and ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices. Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products. Accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams e.g. prioritizing tech debt, compliance and security items, and supporting audits. Accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met. Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews). Creates the technology strategy for their technical domain. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization. Manages a team.
