Job Description:

***This is an onsite position.

This is a temporary staff position required to assist in completing 1000 PC refreshes in the next 7 months. We have many PCs to replace due to the XP Remediation project that was completed 4 years ago where we had to refresh managed desktops to WIN 7 to be compliant with Microsoft. This position will split time between refreshing PCs (1/3 of time) and performing asset-related activities such as receiving new PCs, prepping & imaging PCs, as well as, performing surplus duties.

Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide limited leadership to others; able to manage medium complexity work efforts; may have industry experience.

Description (including, but not limited to):

1. Technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems

2. Hands-on technical and functional assistance to business and technical users

3. Remote technical and functional assistance to business and technical users

Required Skills:

  • Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical personnel. (2 years)
  • Needs moderate knowledge and demonstrable skills with Intel/AMD-based computing equipment, (2 years)
  • Needs moderate knowledge Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and O365 (2 years)
  • Require experience in PC swap outs. (2 years)
  • Basic understanding of automated desktop management tools and Active Directory. (2 years)
  • Strong organizational skills required. (5 years)
  • The position needs to be able to complete work assignments with minimal supervision (5 years)
  • Requires the ability to lift boxes that weigh 30 pounds or more. (5 years)
  • LAN-attached printing/scanning devices (2 years)
